Scope
The web portal should offer an intuitive dashboard that simplifies loan management, providing clear, step-by-step guidance through the application process.
Process
The design process involves user research to understand pain points, followed by wireframing and prototyping to create a user-centered interface, and iterative testing to refine usability and functionality for seamless loan management.
Research - Information Architecture
The information architecture should organize the portal into key sections: Dashboard for loan overviews and real-time updates, Application Process for step-by-step guidance, Document Upload for secure file submissions, Loan Status for tracking progress, and Support for accessing help and FAQs. Clear labeling and logical grouping will ensure intuitive navigation and a seamless user experience.
Design Tokens
Design tokens are standardized, reusable variables in a design system that represent visual styles such as colors, typography, spacing, and more. They ensure consistency across a product's UI and enable easier updates and scalability by centralizing design decisions.
Typography
Neurial Grotesk Variable is a versatile sans-serif typeface that combines modern minimalism with dynamic adaptability. Its variable weight and width options offer flexibility in creating clean, readable typography that maintains a contemporary and sophisticated aesthetic across different digital and print mediums.
Wireframes
The wireframe should include a centralized Dashboard with clear navigation to the Application Process, Document Upload, and Loan Status sections. It should feature prominent progress indicators, real-time status updates, and a streamlined upload interface for quick and easy document submissions.
Components
Reusable components streamline development by allowing consistent UI elements, such as buttons or forms, to be used across different parts of the web portal, reducing redundancy and ensuring uniformity in design and functionality. This approach enhances scalability and simplifies maintenance.
Charts
Incorporating charts into the dashboard enhances data visualization, allowing users to quickly grasp key metrics and trends at a glance. This promotes informed decision-making by presenting complex information in a clear, concise, and visually engaging format.
Onboarding
Onboarding screens for lead conversion should provide a clear, step-by-step guide that highlights key features and benefits, making it easy for users to understand and engage with the platform. Effective onboarding includes interactive tutorials, progress indicators, and personalized tips to ensure a smooth transition from new user to active participant.
Dashboards
For B2B loan management dashboards, the UX should focus on comprehensive data overviews with actionable insights, including loan performance metrics, approval workflows, and financial summaries to aid decision-making and streamline administrative tasks
